Colleen Hamilton, Director of Communications
As ioby's Director of Communications, Colleen stewards the organizations' internal and external storytelling initiatives, which includes social media, newsletters, editorial content, and more.
She has spent the past 6+ years working in nonprofit communications. Her work has centered around values-driven campaigns that build political power and engagement among young people, including partnerships with the United Nations and March For Our Lives. As a writer, her work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, New York Magazine, Teen Vogue, The Nation, and more. Colleen graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied Public Policy and Art.
She is passionate about telling stories that help us see the world, and ourselves, in more liberated ways.
