We hope to keep this aspect of the Brooklyn Cumbia Festival equitable, and free to attend! This is only our second year, and we hope to keep this festival going as long as possible!
the steps
The event is already set for 7/13. We will confirm all the vendors and guarantee them a minimum pay. We will make sure none of them are selling the same things, and then we will begin acquiring all the necessary equipment to prepare for the event!
why we're doing it
Because music brings everyone together, and so many artisans have so much to offer while being accompanied by the beautiful music of cumbia.

Pay for all staff at event (set up team, door, merch, clean up) $2500
Materials for vendors (tables, chairs, table cloths, garbage cans) $2000
Food and beverages for all staff and vendors $1000
Donation to garden and garden staff $300
Approx credit card fees for fundraiser $200
